On the other forum I frequent (pirate4x4.com) it is very common to get the exact same question repeatedly which is tiring at the minimum. In all honesty, if you want basic info, it's best to assume it's been asked before and simply search for it. It's not like as a newb you will have some new unheard of glorious idea. I try and search as much as I can and it's only when I haven't found the info I need that I ask.
For instance, I'm sure the question of "What generator will run my A/C?" has come up a bazillion times. So one should be smart enough to realize that and search. I don't think it's rude to point out the search function to someone. It helps to eliminate clutter.
