Depends on how it’s handled. Search is a powerful tool for finding helpful information. Some folks aren't aware how helpful search can be and may need to be steered in that direction. On the other hand, just assuming someone is lazy because they post a question that has been asked before and chastising them is wrong, especially if it’s a newbie on the forum. To me, it’s about the same as correcting someone’s spelling or grammar and is a mild form of trolling.
