Ours kept doing the same thing, at 4 am, we were camping so DH got up and disconnected it and that was in June. Just reconnected it and went camping again and it did it at 5 am, disconnected again. Talked to an RV service guy and he looked at it and said that those detectors have an expiration date on them and that was the case with ours. We purchased a new detector DH installed it yesterday. We are going camping this weekend, so we will see if it works. Disconnect it and look at the date stamped on it. The detector could have an expired date, and need replacing.
