LT or P Tires ?
My old stock Wrangler AT "P" rated 265 70R 17 tires are up for replacement. I know the "LT" are optimum for towing, but was wondering if I really need them? Cost is not a factor between the P and L...

You do know that LT's come in different ratings don't you. Most tire stores will only stock the "E" rated. Totally over kill on a half ton. I use "C",dealer can get them same day if I call early enough or next day if I don't.
