LT Tire vs ST Tire
I assumed I wanted ST Tires for my camper and some people are telling me to go with LT Tires. Now I'm confused, and guess I shouldn't assume.

There are numerous threads here and always ends up in a debate. However, the general consensus is to go with LT tires. Part of that is because there are so few ST tires made in the USA and Chinese tires are iffy quality at best and more prone to blowouts. LT tires will not be in exact same size as ST so you have to find size thats close and fits in trailers wheel wells fine.
Maxxis ST tires are one of the few with a very good reputation.
Carlisle ST's historically poor but their new ST tire is said to be good.
Tow Master and Greenball ST's numerous complaints
Goodyear Marathon have numerous complaints since production moved to China.
Top of the line LT for trailers is Michelin XPS Rib's. 2nd best would be Bridgestone Duravis R250's.
I changed my trailers no name Chinese 235/80R-16 ST's for XPS Ribs 245/75R-16's. Expensive but last a long time and problems are almost unheard of.
