JJ and FastEagle post so much twisted half truth and out right mis information about what a LT tire maker will recommend or not recommend, or even what they tell us, for proper tire fitment to any trailer. Both of their posts are a excellent example.
There is no reason we should have to go through this nonsense with them every time a poster is asking about using a LT tire on a trailer. Maybe the mods can create a forum or a stickie where we can post emails (with questions asked and answers) from the tire manufacturers.
Trailer manufacturer has the responsibility of the choosing OEM tires.
Tire replacement on down the road is the responsibility of the trailer owner not the trailer manufacturer. This is where the tire dealer or the tire manufacturer have been helpful and will give their recommendations and comes with a full warranty.
