The prime criterion for asking about replacement tire selection is the information about the Original Equipment tires. That information is found on the vehicle’s certification label.
Do you have any tires that would be suitable replacements for the ST225/75R15D that are depicted on my trailer’s tire placard?
And the answer is?

In practical real world solution I think a Goodyear G26 Cargo tire in a size of 225/70R15 is probably as good as available on a 15 inch wheel .
The ST graded 225/75R15D " Marathon " RV tire has a higher sidewall rating .
Goodyear makes them both .
They charge more for the Cargo G26 than the ST Tire .
The G26 weighs more because it has more cords and rubber .
To argue that the ST tire would be less prone to failure just does not make sense .
In the end , if either tire fails it is my expense .
I'm going G26 Cargo over the ST tire if I want to eliminate problems .
I would expect that FE would agree with that .
Come On Fast Eagle .
I answered your question .
And your response was that it was not advertised as an RV tire .
But the question was " what is a suitable replacement .
If the Goodyear G26 Cargo tire size 225 /70R16 is not a suitable , even superior , tire than the ST225/75R15D , then what tire is ?
Does this mean that you do not consider a Goodyear Cargo G26 size 225/70R15 to NOT be a suitable replacement ?
Remember , there are folks less knowledgeable than you looking for a solution .
Are you going to rob them of that solution just to win an argument ?
Does this mean that you do not consider a Goodyear Cargo G26 size 225/70R15 to NOT be a suitable replacement ?
Yes ? No ? Maybe ?
