I know that's what's generally said about the tires by their makers- say- the question is: what's the "LT legal standard" comparable to those for P tires by which that rating (or any) is earned? Folks are always talkin' about LT's being subject to "higher testing standards than ST's".
Just looking for evidence that anyone (besides me) actually knows/cares what LT standards actually
are, as set by the combined "efforts" of the tire industry and the NHTSB.
