Whatever Kumho's marketing page says, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who actually sells the 857 in North America for anything but a trailer.
For one thing, it comes in one size only: 14". The average
minivan has bigger tires than that. Heck, even my 4-cyl Kia Sportage has 15" tires stock. How many North American "light trucks/commercial vehicles" do you suppose the 14-incher would fit, especially give rim width?
For practical purposes here in N.A., the 857 is a trailer tire. And truth be told it's hard to say what
if any testing standard applies to it given its lack of "membership" in the P/LT/ST/? lettering system.
