One could also asked, why is it wrong to use the trailer industry standard ST tires, that finds service in everything from horse trailers, mobile dumpsters, grain wagons, utility trailers, in addition to the 2 million TT tire every year; yet settle for the latest LT tire on sale at the Discount Tire store, rather than a top of the line, Michelin?
We buy what we feel confident will do the job. If you are more confident in an LT over an ST. There is absolutely no reason to stay with the industry standard.
