Ok, so I am looking at buying a dually pickup for personal use and from what I am reading in Ma. I will be required to get a commercial plate. possibly pay about $300 a year for the reg and then a DOT...

I have a neighbor who is trooper and he couldn't accurately answer this, the DMV seems to have random answers. Sorry I don't need answers from people on the other side of the country nor do I need o know about what brand of truck I should buy.
MA rmv referred me to the website, which is why my questions come up, according to their info even if I buy a 350 srw I will need a commercial plate since its gvwr is over 10k.
This is why I ask if anyone from MA whom has a dually can give their experience.
