Ok, so I am looking at buying a dually pickup for personal use and from what I am reading in Ma. I will be required to get a commercial plate. possibly pay about $300 a year for the reg and then a DOT...

See truck in my sig...I pay for a weighted tag for GCW, per NCDOT. I'm not in business, so I don't need a "commercial", ( CD ) license... My truck is inspected once a year by my local dealer, per the state, (all vehicles inspected once a year in NC)..Laws will vary state to state.
