Since my new truck is over 10,000 gvw, I talked to a friend at the Rmv and a state trooper on the truck team. Both had different answers. But in the end, the consensus is duallies are a automatic commercial plate and the more expensive commercial inspection. Srw over 10,000 gvw is a commercial plate if using for commerce. You can transfer a passenger plate to a srw f350 if only being used for personal use. If you know someone with a dually that has passenger plates, they got lucky but since Massachusetts doesn't even know there own laws, they should be safe.
