Macerator pumps

Does anyone use a macerator pump rather than the 3" hose?
From the videos it looks pretty good.
I'm planning on using one for my toyhauler that I keep parked on 5 acres I have in the mountains where I spend a night or 2 each week.
I thought of drilling a hole about 5' deep and dumping in that. With the little use, the water would seep into the ground and the waste would decompose.
With the pump I could run a hose 50-100' away from the RV as it slopes down.
What are some of the better brands and any pros and cons?

  • I have a portable Flojet macerator that I use mostly when visiting sister.

Septic cleanout is 75' away with a 2' rise

    128 gallons total...........black, grey & galley
I use a 3/4" garden hose. Pump for 10 minutes----let motor cool for 5 and then finish pumping about 10 minutes more.

Once a year I disassemble pump and clean

Pumps great.........then with hose connection at pump you can run clean water thru to rinse pump and hose.
