Made in America?
So much for Toyotas claim to be "more American than Ford" (or most any other American made car or truck for that matter) :)

GM is the most "American" vehicle. Why? Cause the US taxpayers are one of the biggest shareholders!!!
Toyota's profits might go back to Japan, but they pay property tax, payroll tax, collect sales tax, import taxes, etc etc. GM pays the same taxes (except import tax when it imports their foreign made cars into the US), but they also took BILLIONS of taxpayers dollars in bailout funds.
I'd rather drive my Toyota than Obama's GM...

Just like the one posted yesterday by the Motley Fool, this one is full of holes too. It list Chrysler as an American Company, which it is NOT. It list the transmission as either produced in the US or is not, which leaves a gaping question.....where did all the parts inside the transmission come from. Same question for the engine and all other components used to manufacturer the vehicle. Again, it appears to give Mexico and Canada credit for being American made products, which they are NOT, as they are foreign countries......For any person, especially a supposed learned college professor, to publish such incomplete and inaccurate info makes one wonder just who these people are trying to fool......
Name calling......
I guess we are in Kindergaten.

Here is what does it for me. Where do the profits go? And where are the headquarters of the parent company. Pretty simple really. There is a difference between an American manufacturer, and a North American manufacturer. Follow the money.
