Nah, I'd bet nobby means 12 miles to the US gal ... don't know of anyone here in Canukianland that still uses Imperial measure, even us old guys. Heck, the DIC in vehicles sold here read fuel consumption in metric OR US miles per gallon, not Imperial. What's he complaining about anyway? - 12 mpg towing a trailer that size with a 1/2 ton is right on the money, exactly what I get towing my similarly sized Coachmen with our Avalanche. It's called "towing a barn door". :p
