Maintaining higher mileage trucks
2011 F150 5.0, 90,000 miles. I'm happy with the truck and at 70, not too many more years of towing. I'd like to ride it out with this vehicle. I've been OK with dealer service and they are convenient...

I use Dealer for routine service......oil changes etc cause I get a really good price for those.
I use a local independent shop for repairs cause they treat me right, have good pricing, stand by their service/repairs.
Small town (12K) so they need to be 'customer' oriented otherwise business would dry up very quickly.
As for your truck.....
Sounds like you bought it NEW and have had it since 2011, have taken care of it, know how/what has been repaired so therefore you know the status of the truck
90K on a gas engine is NOT like the old days when 100K and they were done.
Especially when it has been serviced/maintained.
Keep it, enjoy it.....
