making a pvc sewer pipe

We just put our TT on a seasonal site till at least next October. I am curious on how to make my sewer hose out of pvc instead of using the regular flexible one. I just feel it will get ruined being out in the elements every day. Also any other advice you all have about seasonal sites would be greatly appreciated.
  • after you decide what your going to use make sure you leave the black tank valve shut until the tank get's full then dump it other wise you will end up with a big poop pile in the tank and plug it up.
  • Just slide you existing sewer hose into a PVC pipe. You can get a thin light weight pipe at Lowes or Home Depot. Get small diameter PVC and some t-fittings to make supports for the sewer pipe.

Best thing is too look at what other have done on the CG, get their advise and ask them what they they might have done differently

Also you can search for slip hub/ fittings

  • In our seasonal park most have found the normal rv sewer pipe doesn't hold up very long for various reasons. (atleast in our park)Mine has enough height that I was able to make "P" trap affair, so no odors at all. I would stick with your RV type until you get to know your neighbors and see what they have. Mine is all schedule 40.
  • I have seen PVC fittings to attach to a regular RV sewer connection. Look at a home repair place, or a well equipped RV supplier.
