That way, when your on shore power, the TV will work without having to diddle with the inverter.

For the most part shore power will be inverted battery power. We haven't plugged in anywhere in over year on the road. One goal of the new camper is to remain off the electrical grid.
I like the idea of having a quality 120v tv that is run through a dedicated low watt inverter that we can leave on (or switch off) as opposed to plugging it in to a 120v receptacle that we would need to turn on our main high watt inverter. Host includes the inverter so I will see what that is and go from there. I am also looking at small inverts to run the fridge on 110 vs propane.
