Man, there's a lot of******in my camper!

We bought a new camper and I was packed everything up to transfer it over. I boxed it so we could go through it before putting it in the new one. I knew I had a lot of extra stuff, but this is ridiculous. This pile doesn't include the chairs, bedding, and awning that we took out to go camping last weekend.

  • Ha! we went from a 24'TT to a 36' 5th and I had no idea where to put all of the stuff out of that camper. always need something though. and when you dont have it you need it!
  • I think I have that much just behind the front seats in the cab without even touching the TC storage.

Congrats on getting this done. Each time I pass my home base, of Boulder Colorado or a Charity Box, I jettison things I have acquired along the way. I also ask friends, and family, not to give me anything, as I have no place to put things or store things. A yearly purge is a good thing.

That being said, what did you end up getting?

We bought a 10.5' Real-Lite by Forest River. After going back and forth between the two, I kind of prefer my Lance. I don't know if it is just familiarity or if it really is better. It certainly has more storage.

  • Went through the same thing a few months ago. I filled my garage with "stuff" that I had collected in the RV that I "might" need. I had no idea how much I was hauling around. And of course put most of it back in the next RV. :)

Had a similair problem when emptying a bedroom to put down new carpet. We got too much stuff!
  • We did that a few times amazing how much fits into that space one time I,m going to have a scale and see how much weight we add to the already heavy thing.
