Worrying for nothing (my opinion). Remember you only take pressure OFF of the tow vehicle to latch up you don't actually lift it. Assuming about a 1,000 lb. tongue weight that still leaves you 1,000 lb. to be able to remove weight from the tow vehicle when hitching up and that is plenty.
