It looks terrible and I wouldn't do it . . . until I made some measurements at the scale weighing the axles. While the empty COG may be behind the axle, it is hard to tell how far behind the axle it is. Only a couple inches will not effect the front axle weight that much anyhow. And the camper may be light enough so the rear axle can afford to carry the weight.
Is it the Manufacturer or the Dealer that says it's okay? As we all know, most dealers will say anything to get the sell. They really don't want to know the truth so they can't be held accountable.
Pictures can be very deceiving on how bad things are especially when they have been resized. It also looks like the picture was taken from an angle, not square to the COG point which would make it deciving. Last weekend I looked at a camper which the picture clearly showed a front jack leaning about 8" out. However, upon inspection of the camper, there was absolutely no learning to the jack and it was perfectly as it should have been. And no, it wasn't repaired between the two as I inspected the caulking very closely and it was the factory caulking.
