Basically, Ram needs to give their trucks away to sell them. I just saw in the local paper that Ram is offering AGAIN a no charge cummins + other incentives in the HD trucks!
Maybe Fiat/Chrysler can offer the larger discounts because their manufacturing costs are much lower being in Mexico? I myself prefer to contribute to the north american economy as much as possible.
Where is this free Cummins incentive? I may just have to jump on that!
Yep if they were offering a free Cummins I would jump all over that! But we aren't so I'll stick with the baby 3.0 Eco-Diesel.
Got to say, I have to wounder if Bloomburg has a ton of GM stock :h . It doesn't take a financial genius to figure out why GM is tightening up their purse strings. They know they have a boat load of lawsuits and fines heading their way. They are going to need every penny they have just to stay solvent over the next four years.
I don't think their new CEO made any points with congress nor the public with her testimony early this week. Add the fact that they are now recalling their new trucks and SUV's for a possible fire hazard. Man it's been a tough year for GM so far.
Nothing worse then going out on a test drive and have the truck catch fire! I can hear the salesman right now, "see I told you the new 2015 Yukon was a hot truck! :B :W Clicky
