Yes, there is a globable economy. Yes, there is NAFTA.
What I realize when I get away from the Motor City, that not everybody understands the auto industry, the complexity, and the resource intense processes. Additionally, many do not even care to know where a vehicle is assembled, or how many a OEM assembles in a state or country. They take little facts (sic) that are posted on the internet and believe them.
There are many thousands of vehicles built within 300 miles of the Motor City. There is Ford, GM, and Chrysler plants in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Ontario (Canada). This area of North America has significant impact by these OEMs. They pay employees, who pay taxes, buy goods, and volunteer. This effects the communities.
