So let's say a guy has a 9000 pound camper that has 13% tongue weight. That leaves about 7900 pounds on the trailer axles.
Now then, for instance, four 225/70-15 LT tires have a combined load capacity of 9880 pounds at 65 psi.
7900 pounds divided by 9880 pounds of capacity is 80%.
Perfect. Gotta love being at a a comfortable 20% reserve capacity, with a tire of known quality that is not speed restricted to 65 mph.
