This topic has been pretty well beat to death, but will add my opinion, its not scientific, its just my experience.
The Trailer 03 wildcat 26 fbs, had terrible luck with the original tires, (cant even remember what brand they were) they blew out, they wore funny and uneven, they were a mess, I did keep them inflated correctly and rotated them. I had had it with those tires and was convinced I needed LT tires, but the tire guy at the shop convinced me that the Maxxis tires would be the best solution for us. I am glad he did, the tires have been trouble free and have worn evenly. We are happy with the Maxxis 8008 tires.
as a note; as we went through the hassle of bad tires, we considered that the axles were bent/bad, even went as far as making an appointment to go to Oklahoma for new axles,the axle guy in OK suggested trying a better different tire before buying new axles, thats how I ended up at the tire store. No need for new axles.
