I missed it, maybe post the verbiage you cite.
What I saw was current month "RAM P/U sales of 44,885. Don't think the 4500 or 5500 RAM's are considered PU's.
Seems like something easy to figure out. Ford includes 450 and 550 in their numbers, 550s aren't pickup either.
What would make you think Ram is any different. Perhaps go to the link to FCA's "reported" sales results and please tell US ALL where they report 4500/5500 sales.There's four RAM categories, Ram PU, Cargo Van, ProMaster Van, and ProMaster City.

By the way, the sales number is 44,850 as stated in both FCAs report and Pickuptrucks.com article, not 44,885.
The number I cited is correct for the link I was quoting. Yep you are the genius in the crowd thanks for the condescending comments.
