Doug, yep, I've met up with Bryan a time or two and always threaten to christen his camper the right way too. ;) I am hopeful we can meet up during your trip if not AT the expo sometime before or after.
I'm amazed they are saying they are full but it can be a zoo in the back of the dry camping area. The RV spots yes, but surprised about the dry camping area. There are also nearby USFS CGs and even boondocking further away in the NF so you can always go and just buy the day passes to attend most of what you'd want to anyway. If this is the year to go for you, then go.
