Micro-hotel on wheels?
I like the livin lite, bearcat 11fk (the look, I haven't been in one yet). I looked at the Camplite 13QBB and liked it. I was a 5er (28')owner for 10 years, downsized and sold the 5er. Find I miss having my bed and bathroom with me when I travel and that's all I really need and miss, so I'm thinking SMALL!
Thought about getting a truck camper but never could get "right" with that set up. After a wreck in my less than 2 year old pickup (bought specifically for a TC)in Nov, I took it as a "sign" and put my pickup days behind me and got a Yukon.
Not a lot of small TT owners on rvnet nor the web for that matter. I considered the fiberglass small trailers but none seemed to tweak my interest. I don't see an issue with all aluminum construction, but I'm no expert and know there is a lot I don't know. Aluminum utility trailers seem to be pretty dependable. Are there any utility trailer manufacturers with living quarters that I should be looking at?
Any thoughts you have to share about aluminum construction or towing a light weight long distances or in windy conditions, would be appreciated. Will there be much bounce? Have some concerns with single axles but don't want to go bigger to get one with double. My 5er was a Holiday Rambler and I was completely happy with it and it's quality construction and dependability and I am looking forward to finding a TT that I can be as pleased with.
Thanks in advance for any experience you have to offer. Happy, safe travels....
