The outlets for TT 's are not the typical kind as in the home. They don't install into a box and are mounted directly into the wall. The stab-in terminals used on cheap outlets are not safe. Use the screws(gold for hot/black wire, silver for neutral/white) for a safe connection. The stab-in uses a flexible spring plate that only makes contact with a paper thin portion of the wire. Under higher loads like a microwave or space heater, the contact point will heat up and the spring metal will deform and lose it's pressure causing even more heat. Eventually you end up with a burned off wire or outlet or worse. The best outlets use a pressure plate where the wire is inserted between the plate and base and the screw tightens it down.
