Mileage change with smaller lighter trailer

On the interstate going 60 I get 15 or so.
It is exhausting towing that large of a trailer. When I bought it 6 people camped and we needed the space. Now we are down to 2 or 3 and we don't need anything that large.
I'm not sure that small of a mileage difference would be worthwhile. Maybe we'll look harder at a Trailmanor. I want an Aliner that I can tow with my BMW 3 series. Wife vetoed that idea. Maybe she will get tired of staying Value Place extended stay hotels!
A 2005 Dodge CTD might make more sense. Easier tow and better mileage. More coin though.
