Mileage change with smaller lighter trailer

We went from a 32 foot to an eighteen foot and have gotten 20 to 25 percent increase in millage. The new trailer is lower , lighter and it kinda feels like I am driving a sports car . I find that we use it twice as much because it is so easy to go places with out having to plot and plan how we are gonna maneuver thru traffic and tight spots . No worries . Smaller is better for me . For over twenty years and several rigs we drug 32 to 38 footers all over the nation , until we finally realized that all we did in the R.V, was sleep , shower and eat , so why drag sofas and recliners and bunk beds around , we never use them .
