Define what you mean by "it was not worth it"...
Worth what? And what is the "it" that there was no "worth" being applied to?
I take worth to mean it was not comfortable. THe poster was not driving at the speed he was accustomed to.
AS a result he was not relaxed and the drive was not enjoyable.
Granted this is my take on what he meant and I could be totally wrong.
However it's not worth it to me to drive at 60 mph either!
Yeah, it is not worth it for me either. We make the same 160 mile trip to the coast every year. A few years ago, I had to follow my father who only does 60 mph. It was annoying to drive that slow. After doing the math I saved less than $6 and arrived over half an hour later than I normally do. It really made it bad because I usually leave after work when I take the trailer down so I had very little light out to back up and set up my trailer versus usually having more than enough going my normal speed. Not worth it in my opinion. Thirty minutes is cutting into my valuable beer drinking and relaxing time.
