I wouldn't be afraid of anything well cared for with less than 200,000 on it. Yes, you'll have repairs with an older vehicle but that's usually less expensive than buying a new one. We have a Buick with 176,000, a Jeep with 193,000 and a Chevy dually truck with 217,000. I wouldn't be afraid to drive any of them anywhere. The truck hauls our truck camper at about 1,500 pounds over the GVWR. We just went 3,500 miles with it last year from VA to CO and back. It gave absolutely no problems.
