We have a 2007 Jayco Designer, fifth wheel. We got it used from some friends who were quitting the lifestyle. In the nearly four years since our purchase, we have not seen another that, a. had the floor plan we like (split bath) or, b.felt ass solid as ourss. It is 36 ft, probably longer than we might have gotten, and heavier, but well worth what we paid for the RV and the TV (F350 dually). Nearly all the things I have done to it have either been my fault or just modification to make it mine.
There is a long list of mods,I have done, but they would be valid on any fifth wheel. Stabilizer hooked up to landing gear, sliding shelves in cupboard, extra shelving in other cabinets for double storage, new DVD system for Blu-ray and replace scratchy speakers, black tank discharge gate, clogged. This is a partial list, but like I said, I would have done many of them to any RV we bought. They are definitely solid.
