Believe it or not, some guys actually drag race their diesel trucks. Most race tracks require the exhaust exit on them be above a certain height. This is, I assume to keep all that black smoke above the tracks line of vision. Not saying a lot of them don't just do it to be "cool", I just thought I'd mention it.
Oh yes and, good post TnP. Cuts through all the technical stuff. Easy on simple minds like mine :B cause for the most part, I just drive the beast , and enjoy it. Thankfully I'm not pinching penny's for fuel.
