LOVE Moab. Take a day and go up Hwy 28.....there is a Red Cliffs Resort. The winery is really nice, didn't eat at the restaurant, but DID tour the MOVIE MUSEUM in the resort. It's free -- and fascinating (for people that like movies from 1926 (1928?) on --- MANY movies were filmed in that area.
Check out the rock store at one end of town....even if you're not a rockhound, you'll see dinosaur bones (fossilized) and a 40 foot petrified tree.
ALL restaurants seem to be good in Moab. But Check out Milt's Stop and Eat on South 400 E.........BEST hamburger I've EVER eaten. And Eddy McStiffs on main street.....:) I remember it was good food, but can't remember what we ate!!!!
Have fun!
