Lots of good information here. Just be aware of the dangers of camping down in a wash area. While it maybe flat and inviting, there is often a reason for this being level.
Rainy season is usually before this time, but afternoon thundershowers can happen at anytime and out of your site and still send water to you location faster than you can move or have stable ground to drive upon. Boondocking has great rewards, as well at facts one must be aware of, as well.
