OP could/should have gotten his code cleared at Autozone and waited to see if it came back.
Instead he went to the dealer, got kicked in the Jimmy, and then came here to blame a legal document (NAFTA).
you can't make this stuff up. Cancel a trip over a thrown code? Rent a truck FFS. Love to know OP's age.
