One of my Rams, I don't remember which, threw a transmission code. I think it was a governor pressure sensor if I remember right. Dealer replaced valve body. All was well until one day the trans started shifting through the gears while sitting still at a light idling. I was ready to do a fluid change anyhow so I dropped the pan to look around. The wire harness to the valve body was tight against the sharp edge of the valve body and had worried through a wire. I assume it was intermittently grounding. I repositioned the harness and the problem was gone.
Things definitely changed at Chrysler. My '95 and '98 had a few visits and were quickly taken care of. My '03 and '05 both had the dreaded drive line vibe. Chrysler worked with me through the dealership trying to resolve and finally said it can't be fixed and don't bring it back for the vibe. Life has been much better the past seven years.
As a mechanic of vertical transportation, I can attest that customers who treat me with respect get respect and timely service. I go out of my way for them. Those who talk to me like I'm sheet get put at the end of the list. That's just the way it is.
