Hope you can get it resolved and get your family on that very important vacation trip.
Hay pot meet kettle LMAO-ROTF. Type in ford 6.7 cel issues then tell us again how "Ram certainly has had their share of CEL problems with their trucks... especially the diesel". BTW do it with GM or Chevy or any auto manufacture. They all have issues.
To the OP, not sure why it would take the dealer two weeks to get a sensor in. If it were me I would call Ram and find out. Funny it only took my dealer one whole day to get me a new key fob for my truck. They ordered it Monday afternoon and called me Tuesday afternoon that they had it. Three days is the max for any in stock part that is not on back order. Just like Ford and GM FCA has parts warehouses all over the USA. The dealer can also locate the part at any dealer and have it shipped over night.
There is a whole lot more to this then we are getting from the OP.
I love this "There is another dealership in town but they are a few weeks out before they can look at it. They're busy because, you know, Dodge." no do tell us and then tell us why you bought a "Dodge" if "you know Dodge". Or do you think that maybe just maybe the local dealers, the ones you decided you didn't want to buy from are not going to bend over backwards for someone that buys from out of state?
