So, now that we've looked a lot, and rented a Nash 25c for a while, its time to actually look at buying a TT. The problem is, where are the modern designs, with modern materials?
This is a non -studio shot of a Baily Unicorn on sale in New Zealand.
I'll say these look nice but they're everything I wouldn't want as I said in my later post.
I went to their website. They don't have a sofa plus a dinette. In fact they have no dinette.
Their 2 sofas make either 2 small single beds or 1 larger double bed. This leaves no where to eat or even sit when you wake up and want breakfast or coffee and others are still sleeping. Big MINUS. Even my Pop Ups had somewhere to sit and eat inside when 4 people were sleeping. My smaller 22.5' 19BH Jay Flight could sleep 4 people and leave the dinette untouched.
The sink is a small round single sink which makes it very very hard to wash dishes.
The campers look small and cramped inside as well.
Don't get me wrong, these campers are very attractive and luxury, but they just aren't very functional for a family. Good for 2 people but that's about it. I'd rather go with a Pop Up or hybrid camper for that matter over these, and I'm not fond of having tenting anymore.
For a family, Jayco's Expanda Hybrid trailers have floorplans that offer dinette, sofa, and 2 full size beds. Even their caravans can't offer that.
