FWIW, my wife and I do the garden thing. We do our own yard work, home maintenance, and car repairs. In my area, that's pretty typical. I'm grateful we have the skills and our health to keep it up. I know that in certain areas like the West Coast everything is hired out. A little of that is starting to creep into the Midwest. I just wonder if fitness centers and cosmetic surgery can keep up the balance.
