Modern travel trailers - Who makes them in the US?

So, now that we've looked a lot, and rented a Nash 25c for a while, its time to actually look at buying a TT. The problem is, where are the modern designs, with modern materials?

Browsing European sites for example they have lovely options like this:

Well designed floorplans and fittings, quality interior materials, modern styling and modern construction materials and aerodynamics. They're also lighter..the 20 ft model above comes in at 3300lbs.

The Lance 2185 comes close I guess, but even there, it has traditional face frame cabinets, is significantly heavier, and doesn't have good cabinet/counter space.

So, where are the "euro" trailers here in the US? The only one I've seen so far while looking is the Jayco Skylark, and they don't have a model that sleeps 4 (and have been discontinued anyways).
  • Thanks..I guess this illustrates the issue. I have two kids, boy and girl, who need separate beds or bunks. None of the trailers listed have a layout to handle this (bunks, or two separate sleeping areas, with the possible exception of the Evergreen Element (which I will look at).
The aviator is massive, and heavy (over 30ft!). The Galileo is clearly designed for two people (and heavy to boot), and the Oliver can sleep 3 :-(
Would be nice to see some of the mainstream brands build something decent. I can't believe in 2013, we're still seeing wood frames, corrugated aluminum, with leaf spring suspensions, OSB and bulky face frame cabinets as the norm! Airstream makes some nice stuff, but their prices are insane (and their smallest bunkhouse is a 30ft).
  • Small but cool is the Cricket, and Canada makes A real nice trailer, name is Safari Condo....
  • Evergreen Element

  • We are really lagging behind in Modern designs I will give you a list of a few, unfortunately some came and went out of business after a year or two.....
