Now my plans have changed again. We were wanting to go to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon after we leave Sedona but found out that the road going into the North Rim (State Highway 67) is closed until May 15th and the campground will not be open until then also. So now I have several days to kill that I wasn't planning on. We've been to the South Rim a number of times and really don't want to do that so I guess we'll do what Mellow Mike suggested and do it all (Canyon de Chelly, Monument Valley, Goosenecks State Park, Moki Dugway, Muley Point Overlook and the Valley of the Gods) before heading to Moab. Has anyone stayed at Spider Rock Campground at Canyon de Chelly? The owner of the campground offers jeep tours down into the canyon and was wondering if it's worth doing. I know from the website that the campground is quite primitive but there doesn't seem to be any other campgrounds in the area. Are there any other suggestions I could look at?
