Cottonwood Campground is located near the entrance to the park and the lodge. These are no-hookup sites with a max length of 40', according to the Navajo Nation Parks Dept., which runs the campground (see below). However, there is water and a dump station available. I understand that there is now a fee for camping at Cottonwood.

You can easily walk over to the lodge for small meals. You can also arrange for one of the "shake and bake" tours there. I recommend the half-day tour, though would like to do the full-day tour some day, too.
