I can only assume that you are breaking down the dinette every night as your bed?
On our hybrid, with two tent ends, we only partially turtled once last year when it was a chilly (40F at night) weekend.
We kept the kids bunk closed and put them on the dinette and the wife and I stayed under our tent end. A small electric heater kept all of us plenty warm without having to run the furnace.
It worked, but breaking down the table every night to make a bed got old, even over just a weekend. If it doesn't bother you, I would say keep on keepin' on.
