My TT weighs right at 6K. The EcoBoost with max towing capacities ranging from a low of 8,800 LB, to 11;300 LB. Is a great TV for that weight TT. And there are a lot more TTs in that range.
And with payloads ranging from 1500 to 2600 lbs. I fail to see the Limits you speak of.
Add that to the fact that, MOST of us that have 150s. Use them for daily drivers, and the non towing MPG comes into full play.
