Did you even open and LOOK at the numbers in YOUR links :h
15/17/22 Ram 5.7, 15/17/21 Ford 5.0 from YOUR LINK! Just incase you can't figure it out 22 is BETTER then 21 in fuel mileage.
So tell me how they get the same in the city, the same on the highway but the combined is the same? And a test in acutal use puts the Ram at the bottom....
Its your link not mine, at one or even two MPG to me is not anything to toot your horn about. But the EB crowd sure thought it was even when its only 0.5 MPG difference .
Fordlover MT's write up sure sounded like a Ford script but maybe that's the Ram Fan Boy in me?
From day one WWWAAAYYY back in 2003 I have said this Heavy half BS is just that BS. Ram even says on it's web site (I posted it before) that the 1500 is not intended for RV towing. From Rams web site "Light Duty for towing boats, ATV's and trailers. Heavy Duty for towing horses, RV's and about everything else"
I give Ram mad props for NOT pretending to be something its not. But hay its all good buy what you like (and you will) and I'll buy what I like (and I will).
Don
On edit the EB won't even come close to the 2014 Ram 3.0 V6 diesel, 30 something MPG :E Eco that Ford! :W
