But I do 'occasionally' buy LAGS stuff...just educate myself till I am satisfied
with whatever it is
My 1996 Suburban was a LAGS, as was just about any other SUV at that time.
Number of cup holders the first thing all of the sales folks mentioned.
Waited till port injection came out, as disliked TBI, and was the 'first' year
Dislike anything Apple, though admit that they do have quality stuff. Do NOT
like closed systems and huge dislike for Jobs after my first meeting with them
both...what a jerk...Woz is a cool guy
Am eying the LAGS Sony 4X HD TV's and decision on the little one or the big one
Folks here claiming piston cooling as if never before seen on this earth and
that one OEM copied another OEM...well piston cooling has been around with boy
racers for *DECADES*. If you really want to go into boy racer stuff...look up
drilled piston tops for higher ring pressure on the cylinder walls. Why it
was not such a good thing, but great for those who change engines for every
race.
Or do you folks know why a 'normal' V6's journal bearing width and
dia is NOT good for forced induction to the levels of Egoboost ?
Why this V6 block is all new because of the beefing needed to handle
the increased pressures everywhere?
Heck, Turtle's very accurate comment of that V6 forced fed air/fuel
is in the 7 LITER arena is so misunderstood, to even not comprehended
It's just not for 'me'...
